Treasure hunters threaten monk

A group of treasure hunters who entered the Padikemgala Raja Maha Viharaya has threatened its Vhiradhipathi Ven. Masshagalwewa Gnaninda Thera to reveal them where the treasures are in the temple.The Thera has lodged a complaint in this regard with Suriyawewa police.

Following the complaint, Suriyawewa police arrested a suspect, a resident of Suriyawewa, for the incident. Investigations are going on to arrest the rest.
