AG raises concerns into Keith Noyahr abduction and assault investigations

Attorney General Dappula de Livera while sending a reminder to Acting IGP C.D. Wickremaratne has raised concerns regarding investigations into the abduction and assault on journalist Keith Noyahr.

The Attorney General in his letter urged the Acting IGP to expedite the investigation and inform the progress on the investigation into the Keith Noyahr case.

Attorney General’s Coordinating Secretary State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said the AG has sent this letter to the Acting IGP as the Police department has failed to submit the progress report even after a lapse of two months.
