CDB recognised as one of the Most Admired Companies of Sri Lanka 2019

Adding to its continuous multiple accolades which showcase the Company’s holistic vision, best practices and sustainability drive, Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) was conferred an honourable mention as one of the Most Admired Companies in Sri Lanka in 2019.

The awards presented by the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Sri Lanka and the Daily FT are designed on the platform of recognizing companies who are truly admired by the nation.

By being honourably mentioned as a Most Admired Company, CDB has proven that it is truly a company that stands a cut above the rest, not just in consistent financial performance CDB has posted over the years.

It is also about being responsible and creating value for stakeholders and the environment, showcasing stewardship that is now emulated by its peers.

The evaluation criteria for the awards was designed to recognize companies that were truly admired in the national arena, where financial performance, stakeholder value creation and environmental responsiveness remained the fundamental criteria for quantification.
