The National Elections Commission (NEC) will issue temporary identity cards for voters who do not have valid IDs for them to vote on November 16. Those who need the temporary ID cards should get relevant documents to get ID cards from their Grama Niladhris.
District Election Offices will issue ID cards till November 9, said Kurunegala District Senior Divisional Secretary W.E.Jayathilke at a meeting of Grama Niladharis in Kurunegala on October 20.
