Ukrainian woman nabbed with gold biscuits

Officers attached to Police Narcotics Division at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has apprehended an Ukrainian woman with 20 gold biscuits weighing 2 kilograms 320 grams.

The suspect had arrived from India this morning.

The suspect had hidden the 20 gold biscuits in the soles of her shoes.

The suspect was handed over to Customs officers for further investigations by police narcotics officers.
