Saudi Arabia’s Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence has sent a cable of congratulations to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on the anniversary of independence.
The Crown Prince wished the President constant good health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also sent a message of congratulations on the anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka, expressing hope that friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields further deepens to serve the interest of the two nations with the political will of the two countries’ political leaders.
“I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations on the anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka,” President Rouhani said.

Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said also sent a cable of congratulations to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on the occasion of Sri Lanka’s independence anniversary. In his cable, the Sultan expressed his congratulations along with his best wishes for good health and happiness to President Rajapaksa and the people of Sri Lanka.
