N’Eliya Balamandala unanimously adopts resolution on Elephant symbol

A resolution calling for the UNP to contest the upcoming General Election (GE) under the Elephant symbol was unanimously adopted at the Nuwara Eliya district UNP Balamandala meeting, UNP National Organizer Navin Dissanayake.

“There are two viewpoints. Some were of the opinion that the UNP Deputy Leader should vie for the upcoming election under Samagi Jana Balavegaya with the ‘Duck’ symbol. Others said that ther UNP should contest the election under Elephant symbol”, he said.
