Principals advised on schools’ hygiene, cleanliness

Schools authorities are advised to set up infrastructure facilities at schools so as to mitigate the COVID 19 outbreak by Monday (5).

As per the instructions of the Education Ministry, hygiene and cleanliness in schools should be strictly maintained. Accordingly, facilities will be provided mainly for hand washing, and personal sanitation. A sick room will also be set up.

Principals have been advised to rearrange timetables since schools have to conduct until 3 pm once they commence. Besides, each principal will have an operation plan for the school to protect students and school community. Academic activities will be conducted while providing necessary and acceptable security measures. The principals are advised to follow the ministry instructions and receive health authorities’ assistance where necessary in this regard.
