The Police had arrested 90,862 suspects over various crimes including the possession of narcotics, firearms and explosives during island-wide raids conducted from June 16 to July 23, according to the police media division.
Accordingly, 11,480 suspects were arrested with 14kg 682g and 600mg of heroin, 695kg 252mg and 253g of cannabis was seized and 8,229 suspects were arrested. Further, 4kg 622g and 221mg of Ice were seized during this period and 662 suspects were arrested.
Meanwhile, 184 suspects have been arrested over the possession of weapons and firearms.
Police said 18 suspects were arrested over the possession of 367g of explosives, 23 detonators and 22 hand grenades.
Another 19,107 suspects were arrested by the police during this period for engaging in the distilling of illicit liquor and 500,716 litres of illicit brew were taken into custody.
In addition, the police had also arrested 17,913 suspects who had arrest warrants issued against them while another 33,269 suspects were arrested over various other crimes, the Police Media Division said.
