President Gotabaya Rajapaksa inspected the Altair mixed development project which being constructed in front of Beira Lake.
The BOI registered project is valued at US $ 250 million. The Urban Development Authority currently oversees the construction.
About 70% of the construction of the building complex is complete and the President was informed that the rest of the construction work would be complete by January.
The President points out that such constructions are a major tourist attraction.
