The contempt of court case filed against Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) President Dr. Anuruddha Padeniya for allegedly undermining the Court of Appeal judgment delivered regarding the SAITM issue was today fixed for inquiry by Court of Appeal.
Court of Appeal two-judge-bench comprising Justice (President) Arjuna Obeysekera and Mayadunna Corea decided to postpone the case since the respondent Dr. Padeniya is currently under self quarantine. This case is to be taken up for inquiry on March 3 and 10.
