Lion Express launched Sri Lanka’s first courier app at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall on March 25. Shield Technologies, with funds from Lion Express Courier and Logistics, developed the application.

Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Namal Rajapaksa attended the event as its chief guest. The main purpose of the app is to aid prompt and reliable delivery services at the lowest rates, Shield Technologies Chief Executive Officer Thenura Geeth Thamuditha said.

Lion Express Courier and Logistics Sanjeewa Arandara said the app would play a pivotal role in the local courier services. “While providing a consistent service to all our customers, we also hope to expand our services globally,” he said.
