A two-day handicraft exhibition and fair organised held by Samurdhi beneficiaries from the Ampara District was held at the Kannahi Amman Temple in Karaithivu, recently.
Karaithivu Divisional Samurdhi Bank Manager S. Sathees inaugurated the event. Karathivu Divisional Secretary S. Jegarasan, Ampara Additional District Secretary V. Jegatheesan, Nintavur Divisional Secretary M. Ansar, and Karaithivu Assistant Divisional Secretary S. Partheepan were also present.
Products made of reed, palmyrah, coconut and palm, as well as traditional sweetmeats, handloom products, rice flour products, recycled products, exotic plants, toys, and household items were among the products on exhibition and sale.
