Matara PS Complex to be opened on November 9

The Matara Pradeshiya Sabha (PS) building complex will be vested in the public on November 9 by Southern Province Governor Willie Gamage.

Matara PS Chairman Wimal Priyajanaka said that the two storey building comprises an office complex, auditorium, meeting hall, public library and children’s library with reading rooms. It also houses the Bank of Ceylon Kekanadura Branch and has enough space for stalls as well, he said. The construction cost Rs. 112 million and the Government along with the PS channelled the funds.

Ministers, State Ministers, PS Chairmen and a large gathering will be present at the inauguration, Matara PS Chairman Wimal Priyajanaka added.
