“The Examinations Department has decided to hold the GCE A/L Examination 2022 and Grade Five Scholarship Examination 2022, during this year, Kurunegala District senior Director of Education W.M. Balasooriya said. Accordingly, the GCE A/L Examination 2022 is to be held from October 17 to November 12, while the Grade Five Scholarship Examination 2022 is to be held on October 16, Balasooriya said, according to the latest circular issued to all Provincial Directors of Education by the Examinations Department.
The Examinations Department has planned to hold the GCE O/L Examination 2021 countrywide from May 23 to June 1, this year. This examination which was to be held last year had to be postponed to this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he said.
