Trincomalee District Audit Management Committee Meeting held

The Trincomalee District Audit Management Committee Meeting (AMCM) was held on May 25 at the District Secretariat under the patronage of Government Agent and District Secretary B.H.N. Jayawickrama.

The Government Agent said that the audit regulations of all the institutions and divisions affiliated to the District Secretariat must be accepted and through that the audit activities of the relevant agencies and divisions can be carried out systematically.

He also said that the problems and errors caused by this manner can be easily resolved.

Additional Government Agent J.S. Arulraj, Auditor General’s Department Officials, the Chief Internal Auditor of the District Secretariat, the Chief Accountant and the Heads of the Divisions were present.
