Prefect’s lunch opens eyes of teachers in Minuwangoda school

Information has come to light from a secondary school in Minuwangoda Education Zone about a prefect who brought tender coconut kernel for lunch. She is a bright student studying in grade nine.

Her father is a labourer and her mother is a housewife. She also has several older and younger siblings. 

This has happened when this student was also ready to eat with other students during the lunch break.

After this incident came to light the teachers of the school has commenced providing students with a few lunch packets.Teachers prepare some lunch packets and provide such needy students.
