Thilangani to represent Sri Lanka at World Rugby Congress

Former executive committee member of Sri Lanka Rugby Thilangani Warakagoda will represent the country at the international women’s rugby congress to be held in Auckland, New Zealand.

She is the only invitee from Sri Lanka for this congress at which several important decisions will be taken. This congress will be held in Auckland on November 10 and 11 presided over by world rugby president Sir Bill Bumont at which over 300 delegates from 43 countries will take part.

Thilangani is a former manager of the Sri Lanka women’s rugby team and a former Wing Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
