President removes three Governors

The Governors of the North, East and Wayamba Provinces have been removed by the President yesterday and the new Governors will be appointed by tomorrow, Wednesday (17) the President’s Media Division said.

The Governors of Northern, Eastern and Wayamba Provinces were Jeevan Thiagarajah, Anuradha Yahampath and Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda respectively.
