Cannot allow country to go bankrupt again - Sajith

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said yesterday (13) in Ampara that the country cannot be allowed to go bankrupt once again.

He said this while participating in the distribution of the 71st bus under the Sakwala programme to Ampara Bandaranaike Girls’ College. He said that creating a ‘Knowledge’ based society can be looked at as a common factor to get out of bankruptcy and if decisions are made based on acquiring ‘Knowledge’, then successful goals can be reached. Therefore, the Opposition Leader said that it has to be ensured that the country will not go bankrupt once again.
