Some of the Kandy schools have ended their first rugby game of the season, where St. Anthony’s College beat St. Joseph’s College 22-12, Vidyartha College beat Science College 26-19, Dharmaraja College beat Trinity College 17-15 and Kingswood College went down to Isipathana College 8-32. The match between St. Sylvester’s College and Prince of Wales College played in Ratmalana ended in a no decision.
This week’s games are 23rd Friday St. Sylvester’s College will play Sri Sumangala College at Bogambara, 24th Saturday St. Anthony’s College will host D.S. Senanayake College at Pallekelle, Dharmaraja College will play Zahira College at Bogambara and on 25thVidyartha College will play Trinity College at Bogambara, if the weather permit good rugby will be presented, All matches are scheduled too kick off at 4 p.m. It is very important to understand that winning is nice but losing will teach you so much more. One must not view losing as negative.
