Over 850 election-related complaints since nomination day

The Election Commission has received a total of 851 complaints relating to the Presidential Election – 2019 from the date of nomination till yesterday.

This includes 814 election law violations, 08 violent acts and other 29 complaints, said the Chairman of the Election Commission, Mahinda Deshapriya.

Of this, the National Election Complaints Management Center has received 359 complaints while the district management centers have received 492 complaints.
