Relaxed medical for driving licences

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday instructed officials to limit the full medical examination only for heavy vehicle licences and carry out the vision test only for light vehicle licence applicants.

The President issued these instructions after looking in to the complex process to obtain a vehicle driving licence.
