A black leopard, classified as rare in Sri Lanka, which was rescued from a trap in Nallanthanniya, Hatton, died at the Udawalawe Wildlife Hospital, yesterday. The veterinarians who examined the leopard said it was seven years old. Picture by Asela Kuruluwansha.
