The Sri Lanka Freedom Party celebrated International Women's Day at the party headquarters under the patronage of Party chairman and former President Maithripala Sirisena.
The former president distributed fruit saplings among the former SLFP provincial Councillors.
Minister Mahinda Amaraweera, State Ministers Duminda Dissanayake , Dayasiri Jayasekera and SLFP women's wing president Chandrika De Soysa were present at the event.
