The year 5 Scholarship Students Prize Giving Awareness programme for the Matugama educational zone organized by the Rohitha Abeygunawardane Foundation under the concept of Kalutara District New Aim at Education "Sisu Daru Yathra" programme’s first stage was held at the C W W Kannangara Central College, Matugama recently.
Minister of Ports and Shipping and Chairman of District Development Committee, Kalutara, Rohitha Abeygunawardane was the Chief Guest. Parliamentarian Anupa Pasqual, former Provincial Councillor Chandirabanu Adikaram, Lal Dissanayake, Zonal Director of Education, Meril Munasinghe, the Chairman of the Pradeshiya Shaba, Matugama, principals and teachers were present.
