Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, Western, North-central and Southern provinces after 2.00 p.m, stated the Meteorology Department.
Fairly heavy falls above 50 mm can be expected at some places in these areas.
A few showers may occur in Western and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning too.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
