Rice, coconut oil stolen from Pinwatta Sathosa outlet

The Pinwatta Police initiated an investigation into the break-in into the Nalluruwa Sathosa branch and stealing rice and coconut oil.

The investigation has been initiated based on a complaint made by the Nalluruwa Sathosa branch manager. The value of the stolen goods has not yet been evaluated.

 The Police revealed that the thieves have entered the building through a rear side window.

They had got away with a large stock of rice and coconut oil.

Both rice and coconut oil prices have risen steeply in recent times due to shortages and transport costs.
