Solar powered boat service from Diyatha Uyana to Wellawatte

The Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation (SLLDC) jointly with Genso Power Technologies (Pvt) Limited on Friday launched a solar powered boat service from Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla to Wellawatte on the directive of Urban Development and Housing Minister Prasanna Ranatunga in a bid to ease the traffic congestion in the Colombo city during office hours. Parliamentarian Madhura Vithanage and SLLDC chairman Hiran Balasuriya were present.
