Two more brokers in Oman trafficking remanded

Two more brokers, who have been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over the alleged human trafficking to Dubai and Oman, were ordered to be remanded till December 1 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Nandana Amarasinghe yesterday.

The Criminal Investigations Department informed the Magistrate that arrests were made in the Pallekelle and Kurunegala areas.The arrested two suspects were identified as Ajith Kumara Samarakoon alias “Saman” and Yogendran.
