Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne this morning granted bail to UPFA MP Jayantha Samaraweera, under special circumstances.
Bail was given considering the MP's daughter's health condition.
Samaraweera was held in connection with misuse of state vehicles.
He was released on a cash bail of twenty five thousand rupees and two sureties of one million.
